T. J. Haynes is the recipient of numerous awards for writing in the fields of advertising and marketing, including the Silver Apple from the National Education Association, the Gold Mail Box and numerous Echo awards from the Direct Marketing Association, and Advertising?s ADDY awards. He produced and directed the music album John Schneider and Friends, which included two of his songs and wrote the script for the award winning animated video George Learns the Pledge of Allegiance. His credits also include the Selena Movie, A salute to Bob Hope Show, and several new business and new product launches. In 1992 he retired as Founder and President of Haynes and Partners Communications. In 1995 he formed T.J. Haynes, Inc, a marketing services firm specializing in support for charitable causes. Now in retirement, he is pursuing his passions for writing and motorcycle safety. His books Riding with the Leader of the Pack and Big Lou's Ride are the first two works in the Read Easy-Ride Hardseries. The third book, Riding with the Captain was released in July of 2011. The series uses fictional characters and his talent for storytelling to educate and explore riding safety issues. A life long rider and certified motorcycle safety instructor, TJ also teaches regularly at The Motorcycle School, in San Antonio, Texas.
